Candidate profiles and CVs
When you join the talent pool we process the data you provide (email, professional profile, experience, and optionally your name, location, LinkedIn URL or CV) for one purpose: brokered matching between you and companies searching for your profile.
- Your profile and CV are never published — not on this site, not anywhere.
- We never sell or rent access to the candidate database.
- A company only learns about you when we broker a specific match and you take the conversation.
- You can leave the pool at any time from any email we send, or by writing to the contact above. Leaving deletes your profile from active matching.
- Legal basis: performance of the service you request when joining (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) for matching; legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f) for service emails about your membership.
- Retention: while you remain in the pool; deleted on request or after prolonged inactivity.
Company searches
Search requests submitted by companies (contact details and search description) are processed to run the matching and reply by email. Searches are confidential and never published.
Site usage analytics
To understand what content interests visitors most, we collect information about your navigation: pages visited, time on page, scroll depth, clicks, device and browser used, language and referrer of origin. We also process your IP address and, from it, an approximate geographic location (country, city and network operator). The IP address is personal data. A pseudonymised identifier is stored in your browser to distinguish visitors.
We do not use advertising tracking cookies, we do not build profiles of visitors for ad targeting, and we do not share data with third parties for commercial purposes.
- Purpose: to measure and improve the site and the service we give you.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in analysing the use of our own website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where applicable, the consent you give through the notice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- How to stop it: a notice on the site lets you reject the analytics; if you do, your browsing is not recorded and your choice is remembered.
- Retention: a maximum of 30 days on this website's server and up to 12 months in the controller's centralised analytics system, where records may be consolidated with those of other services operated by the same controller.
- Recipients: to derive the approximate location from the IP address we use an IP geolocation service based in the United States, an international transfer covered by the safeguards of Chapter V GDPR.
Link between your browsing and your contact details
If you have given us your email address through a form on this site, we may link that address to the browsing activity described above, in order to handle your enquiry with context and to tailor our response to what actually interests you. This linking takes place within our relationship-management system, is not used for behavioural advertising and is not disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes. You may object at any time by writing to info@industrialaijobs.com.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not use advertising cookies. We use browser storage for four things only: your choice on the
analytics notice (cookie_consent), a pseudonymised analytics identifier, the session identifiers
that group a visit, and the draft of the signup form so you can resume it later in the same browser.
Measurement starts on page load; if you reject it in the notice, nothing further is recorded.
